Isabel Allende for Tara Magazine

There are moments when I feel specially privileged to be a photographer. Like when I have the chance to meet and photograph someone I admire. I've been a fan of writer Isabel Allende since I was a teenager. "House of Spirits" is one of my favorite books of all times. So when I entered Allende's office in Sausalito to shoot her portrait for the Swedish magazine on June last year I was specially happy and excited.

Me on Dufry magazine

This is an interview with me for Dufry magazine. The portrait is a self portrait. First assistant was my 6 year old son Victor, who got paid $20 for the job (he did a great job holding the reflector!). It was his first paid job :)

Long time..

It has been a long time since my last post. Last year, life got even busier with the birth of my second child. Shortly after that, a big move from West to East Coast shook our lives again. Now, that all is more settled into place I will start posting some images I've shot on the last months. Enjoy!

Goodbye Amy Winehouse

These are portraits of Amy Winehouse I photographed in 2007, when she was still barely known. This was after a jam session at AOL Radio's studio in New York. Hearing her sing in a tiny studio was one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had.
